Punjab News: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alongside Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, took to the streets of Sangrur to campaign for AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer. During the roadshow, Kejriwal highlighted several key achievements of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab.
Kejriwal emphasized the benefits that citizens are currently enjoying under AAP’s administration:
- Free Electricity: Residents of Punjab are receiving free electricity, a significant relief for many households.
- Improved Government Schools: The state boasts impressive government schools, reflecting AAP’s commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure.
- Aam Aadmi Clinics: Numerous Aam Aadmi Clinics have been established, providing accessible and affordable healthcare to the public.
- Transparent Government Jobs: Kejriwal underscored that youth are securing government jobs without the need for bribes, ensuring a merit-based system.
Encouraging voters to support AAP, Kejriwal stated, “In your street, village, neighborhood, every vote should go to the broom (AAP’s symbol).”
The roadshow in Sangrur aimed to drum up support for Meet Hayer, with Kejriwal and Mann rallying the local populace to back the AAP candidate in the upcoming elections.
