Punjab News: Baljit Kaur, Punjab’s Minister of Social Security, Women, and Child Development, has reaffirmed the state government’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of the elderly population. She announced that special camps, offering health check-ups, pension registration, and various facilities, are being organized at the doorsteps of elderly citizens.

Kaur presided over a district-level event held to mark Senior Citizen Day, as part of the ‘Saade Bazurg, Saada Maan’ campaign. The event took place in CM Captain Amarinder Singh’s native village, Satauj. This initiative reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring that senior citizens receive the care and attention they need, especially during these challenging times.
