SAD leaders’ perspectives: Leaders from the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) expressed the need for governments to provide adequate machinery and financial support to farmers to address the issue effectively. They also highlighted the role of construction, industrial, and vehicular pollution in overall air quality concerns.

The issue has led to a political debate, with varying perspectives on the causes of pollution and the effectiveness of government measures.
