Punjab News: Students in the state are currently looking into alternate study locations, like Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, due to worries about delayed student visas and possible limitations on the number of Indian students in Canada.
Many Indian students who were considering studying in Canada are now considering other choices, according to an immigration specialist, because of the problematic scenario, lack of safety, and uncertainty about the future.
Immigration consultant Ruban Kohli stated, “Amid Canada-India diplomatic row, parents who want to send their children abroad are now are preferring Australia and other countries over Canada.”
Another consultant, Manpreet Kaur, said, “The students in Canada are also facing issues related to housing, high inflation due to which, the trend is shifting from Canada to other countries.”
