No Ration Card Will Be Cancelled, More Ration Cards to Be Issued
Bhagwant Mann addressed rumors suggesting the cancellation of ration cards, categorically denying them as false and baseless. He warned that such rumors were being spread to mislead people just before the elections, urging citizens to stay vigilant and not believe these false claims.
“No ration card will be cancelled; rather, new ration cards will be issued to those who do not have one yet,” Mann assured. He emphasized that the AAP government would not even consider discontinuing any public welfare services. Mann stated, “No one in Punjab will go to bed hungry. The government will continue to distribute wheat and flour as before, ensuring only high-quality wheat is provided.”
Highlighting his commitment to integrity, Mann said that no allegations of corruption have been made against him or Arvind Kejriwal. He mentioned various initiatives by the AAP government, including providing government jobs, free electricity, building schools and hospitals, and acquiring a thermal power plant for Punjab. Mann asserted that only anti-Punjab and corrupt forces were trying to mislead the public and urged people to remain alert.
During the roadshow, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reiterated his commitment to public welfare and fighting corruption, assuring voters of continued support and development under the AAP government.
