Punjab News: In some Good News for the Adhoc teachers in Punjab, the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has decided to convert the temporary teachers into the Permanent ones. This will benefit hundreds of adhoc teachers who have been working as temporary teachers for around ten years now. The Government is planning to implement the move after the summer vacations. There has been a modified schedule issued for the pay scale of the teachers-
- Teachers getting 3500 per month will now get Rs 15000
- EIGS Teachers will not get 18000, they were getting 6000 earlier
- The Education Providers will receive their salary in 3 parts based on their experiences. For example from 9500, will now get 10000, 11000 will get 20,500 and 22000 will get 23,500.
Money won’t be deducted for Holidays
The major jump in the salary has been given to the Inclusive Education Volunteers, as they will now get 15,000, earlier they were getting 5000. There are other changes also being made in every area, like now the Holidays will also be paid. The CM also said that from now on, no money will be deducted if you go on leave. Teachers will not have to protest or sit on dharnas to put forward their demands.
