Punjab News: In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police, in collaboration with a Central Agency, has arrested the primary perpetrator involved in the recent Chandigarh Grenade Blast case. The Director General of Police (DGP) of Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, announced the arrest via Twitter, confirming that Rohan Masih, a resident of Passia village, Amritsar Rural, has been apprehended. The arrest has led to the identification of other accused in the case as well.

During the arrest, authorities recovered a 9MM Glock pistol and ammunition from Masih’s possession. He is currently in the custody of the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar, and initial investigations have revealed his involvement in the grenade blast that occurred in Chandigarh on September 11, 2024.

DGP Yadav further stated that a joint investigation, in coordination with the Chandigarh Police, is underway to unravel the entire conspiracy behind the attack. The arrest of Rohan Masih marks a significant development in the case, as police work to uncover the full extent of the plot.
The Punjab Police reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and harmony in the region, expressing confidence in resolving the case fully with the continued efforts of the joint team.
