Constable Amritpal Singh, aged 30, was fatally shot during a raid conducted by a Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) team in Mansoorpur village on Sunday. The team was attempting to apprehend Rana, who was suspected of harboring illegal weapons in a residence. As the police attempted to enter the suspect’s premises, Rana opened fire, resulting in Constable Singh being struck in the chest and subsequently dying from his injuries at the hospital.
