To address the situation, the Meteorological Department has announced summer vacations for schools in Chandigarh until June 30. All government, aided, non-aided, and private schools in the Union Territory of Chandigarh will be closed for summer break from May 22 to June 30. The Education Department confirmed that today, May 21, will be the last working day before the holidays begin.
