Punjab News– In a landmark move that sets a new standard for educational innovation in India, Sunam has equipped all Government High and Senior Secondary Schools in the Assembly constituency with advanced robotic laboratories. The initiative, led by Punjab’s Minister of Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training, Mr. Aman Arora, marks a significant step in revolutionizing the educational landscape by empowering students with cutting-edge technology.
Inauguration of Advanced Robotic Lab
The announcement was made by Mr. Arora during the inauguration of an Advanced Robotic Laboratory at Government High School, Kheri. He emphasized the government’s commitment to delivering high-quality scientific education and equipping students with the necessary skills to succeed in the modern world. “This initiative is a testament to our dedication to fostering academic excellence and innovation,” Mr. Arora said, highlighting the significance of these robotic labs in shaping the future of education in Sunam.
Phased Implementation and Training
The initiative, now in its second phase, has seen robotic labs installed in 11 additional schools, building on the 18 schools equipped during the first phase. Regular training will be provided to students by trainers from Kurious Learning Labs, Gurgaon, ensuring that they can fully utilize the technology. These futuristic laboratories are designed to foster a collaborative learning environment, encouraging students to explore, experiment, and develop creative solutions to real-world problems.
State-of-the-Art Equipment and Technology
The robotic labs are equipped with a variety of sensors and components, including Ultrasonic, IR, Touch, Sound, Air Quality, Light, Temperature, Soil, PIR Motion, Alcohol, Metal Touch, Carbon Monoxide, Relay, Flame, Colour Sorting, and Rain Drop Sensors. These facilities will enable students to focus on emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), providing them with a strong foundation in these critical areas.

This groundbreaking project, funded by ICICI Bank and executed in partnership with Kurious Learning Labs, Gurgaon, is expected to have a profound impact on the educational landscape in the Sunam constituency.
