CM Bhagwant Mann: Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday inaugurated the first of Schools of Eminence in Mohali, calling it a groundbreaking move to ensure the children’s bright futures. In his remarks to the audience at the inauguration ceremony, Mann emphasized that Punjab had only been a top-ranking state in terms of education during the previous administrations’ terms in office.

These 117 schools of distinction, which are being established in 23 districts across the state, are stated by the chief minister to be temples of high education. According to him, the goal of establishing these institutions is to help government school kids who are gifted achieve their ambitions.
According to him, these institutions would give the pupils the opportunity to compete with their counterparts who attended convent schools in national competitive examinations. Mann tweeted in Punjabi saying, “Today is a historic day in the field of education for Punjab…Today the first of the 117 schools of eminence in Punjab is being inaugurated…Congratulations to all Punjabis…”
The chief minister proclaimed that these schools will have the names of renowned martyrs and patriotic figures. The Chief Minister also stated that teachers will serve as the state’s foot soldiers for education reforms. He said that his government had made the decision to send 36 state-employed teachers to Singapore for professional development.

Delhi CM and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal praised Bhagwant Mann on his move, stating “Congratulations to Punjab CM Bhagwant MannThis is amazing. In such a short time, 117 schools of eminence were announced. After Delhi, now Punjab will witness the education revolution. Soon, all schools in Punjab will become world-class. Congratulations to three crores Punjabis.”
