There is news of rocket launcher attack on police station in Tarn Taran district of Punjab. According to the information, the building of the police station has suffered minor damage in this attack. The attack happened around 1 am. It is said that the police station building was targeted and attacked with rocket launchers. The windows of the building were broken in the attack.
However, there is no news of any casualty in this attack. Being adjacent to the Tarn Taran border, it is considered a very sensitive district of Punjab. This attack created a stir in the area. the matter is being investigated.
Earlier in the month of May this year, there was a rocket attack on the headquarters of the Intelligence Wing of Punjab Police in Mohali. The attack targeted a floor of the Intelligence Wing Headquarters building in Sector 77, Mohali. However, there was no loss of life or property in this attack as well. Later, the police arrested the terrorist involved in the attack.
