2 miscreants involved in Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case were killed in gang war in jail. Violent clashes broke out between miscreants in Goindwal Jail in Tarn Taran district in Punjab on Sunday. Mandeep Singh Toofan and Manmohan Singh Mohana were killed in this. The condition of another crook Keshav is critical. All three were attacked with sharp weapons on their heads, police said.
Tarn Taran’s Emergency Medical Officer Dr. Jagjit Singh said that of the three injured brought from the jail in the afternoon, two had died before being brought to the hospital, while the condition of the third remained critical. Slain gangster Mandeep Singh was present as a standby shooter during the murder of Toofan singer Musewala. He was a member of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang.
The Lawrence gang took responsibility for both the murders
Goldie Brar wrote – The Lawrence gang takes responsibility for the murder of Mohana Mansa and Mandeep Toofan in Goindwal Jail. They were killed by our brothers Sachin Bhiwani, Ankit Sersa, Deepak Mundi, Manpreet Bhau, Kashish, Arshad Bikaner and Mama Kitta. He was Jaggu’s man.
Goldie further wrote – He had beaten up our brother Manpreet Bhau Dhaipai two days ago on the behest of Jaggu. Today our brothers killed them on one side. This Jaggu had killed our brothers Rupa and Mannu in an encounter by setting a trap.
There was an altercation with the prisoners, then both died in the violence
According to information, gangster Mandeep Singh Toofan had a clash with the inmates in the jail over some issue. After this, the prisoners beat him to death. Three to four other prisoners were also reported injured in the clash.
Assistant Superintendent of the jail Harish Kumar told that these people had a fight among themselves. All the gangsters involved in the Musewala murder were locked up at one place. There was also security there.
After the murder of Moosewala, both the miscreants went underground
After the murder of Moosewala, both the accused had gone underground along with Sandeep of Ludhiana. Sandeep had given shelter to both the accused in the house of one of his relatives in Ludhiana and kept them there for several days. After staying in Ludhiana for a few days, both the gangsters Mandeep Singh Toofan and Mani had left Ludhiana while police arrested Sandeep thereafter.
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was murdered on 29 May 2022 at 5.30 pm in Jawaharke village of Mansa. About 40 rounds were fired at Moosewala. 19 wounds were found on Moosewala body. Of these, 7 bullets were directly hit Moosewala. Moosewala had died within 15 minutes of being shot. Moosewala, who was going in a Thar jeep, was chased by a Bolero and a Corolla vehicle. At that time there was no gunman with Moosewala.
