“We will make Punjab leader state of the country in education”: Harjot Singh Bains

Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains stressed on Tuesday that more new recruitment will be made in the education department and that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is working diligently to make Punjab leader state in the field of education.

Further revealing, the Cabinet Minister asserted that the government is concentrating on making revolutionary changes in the field of education, including beautification of school buildings as well as planning for improving the quality of education, during the distribution ceremony of appointment letters to the lecturers recruited for meritorious schools today at the Head Office of the Education Department, Mohali.

According to Bains, teacher recruitment will go on continuously until all positions have been filled. Bains congratulated the newly appointed lecturers, saying that they were fortunate to have been given the chance to work in a sacred profession like education and that they’d now be the students’ beams of light.

The stalled promotions of all classes teachers would also be completed in the coming days, according to Education Minister Bains, along with station assignment to master cadre instructors.
