Comparing Vote Share in Rajasthan – 2018 vs 2023
In the comparison of vote share between 2018 and 2023 in Rajasthan, the BJP has notably increased its share, rising from 39% in 2018 to 45% in 2023. The Congress has seen a marginal increase from 39% to 40% during the same period. However, the “Others” category has experienced a significant drop, decreasing from 22% in 2018 to 15% in 2023.
Rajasthan’s Chief Ministerial Face
In the CNX survey, the people of Rajasthan have expressed their preferences for the next Chief Minister. Ashok Gehlot is the top choice, with a substantial 33% of respondents supporting him. Vasundhara Raje is a close second, with the backing of 27% of those surveyed. Sachin Pilot is the preferred candidate for 12% of respondents, indicating significant public support. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has the backing of 10% of the public, making him a strong contender. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is favored by 8% of survey participants, while Diya Kumari has the support of 3% of respondents, though to a lesser extent.
