Rajasthan Budget 2023: The budget session of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly began on January 23. CM Ashok Gehlot will present the Rajasthan Budget 2023 on 8 February. This budget is special for the people of Rajasthan and the present Congress government in many ways. Rajasthan assembly elections are to be held in 2023 at the end of the year. In view of this, the natives have high expectations from the government, as they look forward to many big announcements.

More Districts to be announced

Retired IAS Dr. Ramlubhaya’s committee submitted its report to the Ashok Gehlot government which recently went viral on social media. Post this, speculations are ride that seven new districts and three new divisions may be announced in the Rajasthan budget 2023. On January 23, the demand for new districts gained momentum on the first day of the budget session in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. State’s third police commissionerate system can be implemented in Kota.

Four promotions instead of three

The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan had given the gift of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) in the last budget. This time there may be an announcement to reduce promotion and probation period. There is a common demand of 59 employees organizations in Rajasthan that the selected pay scale should be 8, 16, 24 and 32 years instead of 9, 18 and 27. If this system is implemented, there will be four promotions for government employees instead of three. Apart from this, the period of probation period can be reduced from two years.
