Rajasthan Budget 2024: The budget for Rajasthan was presented to the assembly today by the administration of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. As per the available data, the government of Rajasthan has allocated specific monies in the 2024 budget, with the aim of renovating Khatu Shyam Darbar and several other significant religious sites in the state.
Special Attention to Women and Youth
Diya Kumari, the deputy chief minister of Rajasthan and minister of finance, has made it clear that women and youth have received special attention in the state government’s budget. Today, the assembly heard the Rajasthan’s government’s budget presentation. For the purpose of renovating Khatu Shyam Darbar and numerous other significant religious sites, a special budgetary provision has been provided. The government has proposed a budget that includes spending Rs 100 crore to make the Khatu Shyam temple more opulent.
Cultural Festivities and Heritage Projects
In addition, additional decorations and Aarti ceremonies for holidays like Holi, Diwali, Shivratri, Ramnavami, etc., will cost Rs 13 crore in temples. A sum of Rs 25 crore has been allocated to build the Veer Balika Kali Bai Museum in Udaipur, along with shrines honoring the heroes of the Banswara and Dungarpur tribes, in observance of their religious beliefs.
In the budget for 2024, the Rajasthani government has also given special consideration to the state’s young and women. Information provided by Finance Minister Diya Kumari indicates that women’s biopink restrooms would be constructed throughout the state. The first phase will cost Rs 17 crore for this. Concurrently, 15 lakh women will fall into this category under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, and they would receive financial support.
Employment Opportunities for Youth
In the budget for 2024, the Rajasthan government has also included extra funding specifically for youngsters. In line with this, a decision has been made to offer 4 lakh young people government jobs within five years. According to the state administration, one lakh young people would receive government jobs in various ministries this year.
In an effort to support farmers, the Rajasthani government raised the wheat MSP by Rs 125. In addition, funding permission for the ERCP’s initial phase has been granted. The government of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has set aside Rs 27660 crore for a number of development projects in fields including health and medicine. The government has made the decision to construct an ideal solar town in each district in order to promote solar energy.
