Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot hit back at Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad for their remark against Rahul Gandhi. He said nobody saw it coming that these two leaders will speak against the Gandhi scion. Despite BJP’s constant attacks, the Congress leader has not shied away from speaking the truth, he added.

The Rajasthan CM said that a task has been assigned to those who left the Congress as the BJP is now tired.
“That is why, a task has been given to these leaders who left the Congress. The ideology they had sworn to fight throughout their lives, today they have stood with the same fascist ideology at the behest of BJP leaders,” Gehlot said.
Jyotiradtiya Scindia’s traitor remark
Earlier, Scindia had alleged that the party the grand old party is left with no ideology except a “traitor who works against the country.” He said that the party is giving a special treatment to the disqualified MP even and trying everything to stay relevant. Jyotiraditya Scindia had left Congress in 2020 to join the ruling party BJP.

Meanwhile, Ghulam Nabi AZAD, the former Congress leader, had said that Gandhi was the primary reason why he and many others were not in the Congress today. He claimed that one had to be “spineless” to remain in the grand old party.
“Yes. Not me alone, but at least a few dozen more, both young and old leaders…. Once you are in Congress, you are spineless…. you have to get operated,” he was quoted by PTI as saying.
