On Tuesday, a 108-year-old woman in Rajashthans Jaipur died from her wounds as a result of heavy bleeding. Thieves had chopped her legs off on Sunday to steal her silver anklets. One of the suspects in the crime was arrested by police.
The incident happened on Sunday at around 5 a.m. in the vicinity of Jaipur’s Galta Gate. The 108-year-old woman was abandoned by the robbers bleeding heavily, and an hour later, she was taken to the hospital. According to the authorities, the accused murdered her because he was heavily in debt as a result of his luxurious lifestyle.
The accused, Prakash Prajapat, used to reside at the victim’s home as a tenant roughly three to four years ago, according to Additional Commissioner of Police Ajay Pal Lamba.

He lived a high life and was deeply in debt. That’s why he decided to commit the crime of chopping off the 108-year-old woman’s feet to steal her anklets. The ACP said, “He took her to a bathroom, severed her feet, and then made off with her silver anklets.”
The cops were using sophisticated surveillance, and they were able to acquire camera footage that showed a scooter. The ACP stated that with this information, they were able to locate and apprehend the accused.
