There was a major reshuffle in the Rajasthan Police Department on Monday, 13 February. The state government transferred 75 IPS officers. 2 DG rank officers, 8 ADG, 15 IG, 16 DIG, 29 SP and 5 ASP rank officers were transferred. Out of 29 SP rank officers, SPs of 25 districts have been changed. This is a big list of police officers issued by the government for transfer in the election year. DG Ravi Prakash Mehra has been posted as DG Civil Rights and Cybercrime. Janga Srinivasa Rao has been made DG Training.
8 ADG level officers transferred
Eight ADG level officers have been transferred in Rajasthan. Prashakha Mathur has been made ADG Reorganization and Rules, Sushmit Biswas has been made ADG State Human Rights Commission, Dinesh MN as ADG Crime. Sanjeev Kumar Narjari was given the responsibility of ADG Police Community Policing, Vishal Bansal as ADG Armed Battalion, Bipin Kumar Pandey as ADG Police Welfare. Alok Kumar Vashisht has been made ADG State Disaster Relief Force and P Ramji has been made ADG Police Security.
These 15 IGs were transferred here
Bhupendra Sahu has been made IG Cyber Crime, Navjyoti Gogoi Personnel Police Headquarters, Prafulla Kumar IG Crime. HG Raghavendra Suhasa has been given the responsibility of IG Railways, Hinglajdan as IG Intelligence, Vikas Kumar as IG SCRB. Kishan Sahay Meena was made IG Human Rights, Rajendra Singh IG Law and Order PHQ, Jai Narayan IG Jodhpur Range. Sandeep Singh Chauhan has been made IG Community Policing, Ajaypal Lamba IG Udaipur Range, Param Jyoti IG Vigilance. Satyendra Singh has been posted as IG SOG, Ashok Kumar Gupta as IG Police Headquarters and Sawai Singh Godara as IG Anti Corruption Bureau Jaipur.
