Dhirendra Shastri: Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head priest of Bageshwar Dham, will narrate the Hanuman Katha in Baran district. The event is scheduled from September 2nd to 4th and will take place at the Krishi Upaj Mandi premises in the city. The organizing committee has made arrangements for the seating of devotees, security, parking, and other facilities. A press conference was held to provide information about the program, and discussions were also held with traders and officials of various social organizations in the city.
Katha and divine darbar in Baran
Organized by Anand Garg, the Hanuman Katha in Baran district will be presented by Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head priest of Bageshwar Dham. The program will also feature a grand Kalash Yatra on September 2nd, with 51,000 kalashas carried through various routes in the city. On September 3rd and 4th, the Katha will be held along with a one-day road show. The organizing committee is currently preparing the event’s outline, including the route map for the grand Kalash Yatra and the road show.
The organizers anticipate the participation of thousands of devotees during the program. To accommodate the large number of attendees, arrangements for pandals, tents, parking, and security have been made. Volunteers will also be deployed to manage the event smoothly. Various business and social organizations’ officials have also expressed their support for the Katha.

During the press conference, many prominent personalities were present, including Manish Lashkari, President of the Mandi Vyapar Sangh; Devki Nandan Bansal, President of the Vyapar Mandal; Lalit Mohan Khandelwal, President of the Vyapar Mahasangh; Radheshyam Garg, President of the Dharmada Organization; Parag Tongya from Bharat Vikas Parishad; Nandalal Suman, former district head; Vimal Bansal, a prominent mandi trader; and Chandraprakash Vijay, former district president of the BJP, among others.
