In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, the police forcefully removed the women who were sitting on a dharna for the last 10 days last night. By afternoon, MP Kirorilal Meena was also detained. But before this the MP also had a long clash with the police. Actually, the MPs were angry with the action of the police. And that Rajya Sabha MP Kirorilal Meena was going to meet martyr Rohitashv Lamba’s widow Manju Jat. Meanwhile, on the way to Veerangana’s village, the police stopped them.
Earlier, according to Kirorilal Meena, ‘Pulwama widows along with their family members who were staging protests over the non-fulfilment of promises by the Ashok Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan were detained by the police at around 3 am on March 10.’
BJP MP Kirorilal Meena said, “Instead of getting respect from the widows of the martyrs, the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wants the police to repress them. Today at 3 am the police took away the widows and their families. By doing this, the government cannot break the courage of the widows. The struggle will continue till we get our rights.”
MP was going to Veerangana’s village, police stopped barricading
Ahead of Chaumun, Samod police stopped Dr. Meena’s convoy by placing barricades on the road. During this, there was a heated argument between Dr. Meena and the police officers. When the MP’s way was blocked, he clashed with Additional SP Dharmendra Yadav and Deputy SP Balaram Chowdhary. He asked what was the reason that his way was being blocked.

There was a scuffle between Meena and the police officers. During this, Chaumu MLA Ramlal Sharma also reached the spot. Jaipur Rural SP Rajeev Pachar also reached the spot seeing the matter progressing. Later MP Dr. Kirorilal Meena was taken into custody by the police.
Kirorilal Meena did not agree to go with the police. On this the policemen and officials forcibly threw the MP into the police vehicle. and taken to some other place. The widows were sitting on a dharna since January 28 for their demands. Kirorilal Meena termed this action of the police as a dictatorial action. Dr. Meena said that he will continue the movement until the demands of the widows are fulfilled.
