Former Union Minister Jairam Ramesh termed Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot calling Congress leader Sachin Pilot a traitor on Friday as unexpected. He also said that the Congress needs both the leaders and a proper solution to the issue of Rajasthan will be found by giving priority to the party organization and not by looking at the individuals. In fact, Ramesh, the general secretary in charge of the Congress’s communications, publicity and media department, is currently involved in the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi.
At the same time, when asked for a response to Gehlot calling Sachin Pilot a traitor, he said during a conversation with the media in Sanawad that Gehlot is a senior and experienced Congress leader. But the word (traitor) used by him in an interview to a TV channel (for the pilot) was unexpected and it surprised me too. During this, Ramesh described Congress as a family and said, the party needs both Gehlot and Pilot. There are some differences from which we are not running away.

In which an attempt was made to topple the Gehlot-led government. That’s why he cannot be made the Chief Minister. Due to this statement of Gehlot regarding Pilot, the internal discord of Congress in Rajasthan seems to be increasing. Where assembly elections are to be held next year. This statement was made at a time when the countdown has started for Rahul Gandhi to enter Rajasthan on December 4 for Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Amid heavy embarrassment to the Congress due to Gehlot’s rhetoric, Ramesh said without naming the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Congress leaders speak their mind without any fear. Because the party high command does not take any decision on the basis of dictatorship. This is the difference between Congress and BJP.
