Jaipur blast: AAG service terminated, Gehlot government will go to SC against acquittal of the culprits

After the acquittal of the 4 convicts in the Jaipur blast case by the High Court, the Rajasthan government has decided to approach the Supreme Court. CM Ashok Gehlot said that the government will file a Special Leave Petition (SLP) in the Supreme Court in this matter.

In view of the huge outrage in the state after the decision of the Rajasthan High Court, a high-level meeting was called at the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday night, where the decision was taken. CM Gehlot said that the state government will give strictest punishment to the culprits.

A government spokesperson said that the Chief Minister also decided to terminate the services of Additional Advocate General (AAG) Rajendra Yadav, who was appointed to appear in the matter. After the investigation in the high-level meeting, it has been decided to appeal in the Supreme Court against the decision of the High Court in the Jaipur bomb blast case. Gehlot tweeted, the state government will provide justice to the victims by involving the best lawyers. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, Principal Secretary (Home) Anand Kumar, Director General of Police Umesh Mishra and other officers were present in the meeting.
