Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath will do everything possible to end the ongoing dispute between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot so that a Punjab-like situation does not arise in Rajasthan.
Giving information to a news channel, party sources said that on Thursday (April 13), Kamal Nath met party general secretaries KC Venugopal and Sachin Pilot in Delhi. During this, they discussed ways to end this difference.
Sachin Pilot indulge in anti party activities ?
Actually, Sachin Pilot had fasted for a day against the alleged corruption of the previous BJP government. During this, he accused Vasundhara Raje and described the Congress party itself as inactive, which was directly seen as a challenge to Ashok Gehlot. At the same time, the Congress leadership, while supporting Ashok Gehlot, termed Pilot’s fast as an anti-party activity. At the same time, now the party has changed its mind and is trying to find a middle ground in this whole matter.
According to party sources, Sachin Pilot placed his complaints before Kamal Nath and party general secretary KC Venugopal and asked the party to change its behavior towards him. At the same time, Sachin Pilot also made it clear that his fast was not anti-party but he raised the issue of public interest.
Talking to media persons, Pilot had said that, after coming to power, we had assured the people that effective action would be taken against the corruption done by the former BJP government in the state. I want the Congress government to take action against the corruption done by the previous BJP government.
