In a shocking turn of events in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the national president of Karni Sena, fell victim to a fatal attack on Tuesday. The assailants, yet to be identified, opened fire on Gogamedi and his security personnel, Narendra, outside his residence in Shyam Nagar, situated behind Dana Pani restaurant. Despite swift medical intervention, Gogamedi tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Investigation Underway as Police Examine CCTV Footage
Promptly responding to the incident, local authorities, including the Shyam Nagar police, initiated an investigation.
They are closely examining CCTV footage to unravel clues about the assailants. The attack also resulted in injuries to two additional individuals, adding to the gravity of the situation.
Prior Threats and Ominous Patterns
The late Gogamedi had previously reported receiving threats from Sampat Nehra of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, raising concerns about potential motives. According to PTI another, report reveals the demise of Mohit Patel, the 27-year-old district working president of Karni Sena. His lifeless body was discovered in his car under the Kanadiya police station area, with initial findings suggesting close-range gunshot wounds, as stated by Additional Commissioner of Police Jayant Rathore.
