On Saturday, Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, met with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in this location to discuss potential August meeting of the G-20 group of commerce and investment ministers.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Gehlot reportedly said that the G-20 Commerce and Investment Ministers Group conference is crucial for the entire nation.
As a result, there is a chance for considerable investment in the nation and the state. He declared that the state government would offer complete assistance to have the convention in Jaipur.
During the meeting of the G-20 Commerce and Investment Ministers Group, Gehlot gave instructions to the officers on better management.
Goyal reportedly remarked that the organisation of the G-20 Sherpa meeting in Udaipur had received praise from all across the world at the time. The Rajasthani government has also received accolades for this from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to him, delegations of government representatives from other states frequently visit Rajasthan to observe how the G-20 Sherpa conference in Udaipur is planned in order to improve the organisation of future state-hosted G-20 gatherings. From August 21 to 25, Jaipur will host the G-20 Group of Commerce and Investment Ministers conference.
Meeting will feature participation from 21 member nations
The meeting will feature participation from 21 member nations, including Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Britain, and America, as well as 11 invited nations, regional groups, and business and industry sectors like the World Bank, World Trade Organization, International Monetary Fund, and Asian Development Bank. There will be a total of 41 participants, including 9 notable international organisations from around the world.
