Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is scheduled to address a public meeting in Rajasthan’s Tonk district on Sunday. During the event, she will launch the Indira Rasoi rural scheme introduced by the state government and deliver a speech in Tonk’s Jhilai village. Several prominent leaders, including Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, party’s state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, state president Govind Singh Dotasra, and others, will also be present at the gathering.
The Indira Rasoi scheme, which offers meals at a subsidized rate of ₹8, was previously available only in urban areas. The expansion of the scheme to rural areas will be inaugurated during this event.
Ahead of the public meeting, Priyanka Gandhi and her family arrived in Ranthambore, located in Sawai Madhopur district, on Thursday, as confirmed by a police official.
