Raj to sign MoUs worth ₹1.36L cr under invest Rajasthan campaign

Under the Invest Rajasthan campaign, an MoU signing ceremony will be organized on January 23 for an investment of about Rs 1.36 lakh crore by the state government. In the ceremony, MoUs will be signed for 26 projects in the renewable energy and tourism sector, which will generate about 13,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The function will be presided over by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, while Industries and Commerce Minister Shakuntala Rawat, Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh and Minister of State for Energy Bhanwar Singh Bhati will also be present.

Industries and Commerce Minister Rawat said that the state government is committed to building sustainable partnerships with investors for the development of the state.

The Invest Rajasthan campaign is helping the stakeholders to collaborate and deliver on the promises.

Additional Chief Secretary Industries and Commerce Vinoo Gupta said that the industry has shown encouraging attitude towards the Invest Summit.

This MoU signing ceremony will prove to be an effective step towards taking our commitments forward. The state government is providing a conducive environment for setting up such projects.

It is worth mentioning that in the last several years, one stop shop policy and sector specific policies have been brought by the state government with the aim of easing the process of setting up industries.
