As the Rajasthan elections approach, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has released an emotional video highlighting various state government schemes and urging people to vote thoughtfully. In the video, Gehlot emphasizes the value of each vote and appeals to the 5.25 crore voters in Rajasthan to carefully consider their choices before casting their ballots.
Gehlot Explains the Significance of Each Vote
Gehlot uses the example of the Chiranjeevi scheme, which provides free health insurance of Rs 25 lakh to every household in the state, to illustrate the impact of a single vote. He stresses that with one vote, individuals can secure their families from the financial burden of medical expenses.
Similarly, Gehlot highlights the benefits of other schemes such as subsidized gas cylinders, free Annapurna ration kits, free electricity units, social security pensions for senior citizens, widows, and women, reduced bus fares for women, and the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for government employees.
Highlighting the Risks of Voting Without Consideration
Gehlot cautions voters against making impulsive decisions based on religious sentiments or provocative speeches. He warns that such choices could lead to the discontinuation of beneficial schemes and the imposition of additional burdens on the people.
Gehlot Appeals for a Vote for Progress and Prosperity
Ashok Gehlot urges voters to cast their votes thoughtfully, keeping in mind the future of Rajasthan. He promises quality education for children, free laptops for youth studying in government colleges, an annual honorarium of Rs 10,000 for the female head of each household, smartphones for those who are yet to receive one, and access to good roads, schools, and hospitals.
Vote for Yourself, Your Health, and Your Happiness
Gehlot appeals to voters to prioritize their own well-being and prosperity when making their choices. He emphasizes the importance of voting for a government that cares about the people and their needs, ensuring a brighter future for Rajasthan.
