Rajasthan News: In a tragic incident in Ajmer, Rajasthan, a 30-year-old cleric named Mohammad Mahir was reportedly beaten to death by a group of three masked men inside a mosque.

The incident occurred around 2 am on Saturday at a mosque situated in Kanchan Nagar, under the jurisdiction of the Ramganj police station. According to police reports, the assailants entered the mosque and attacked Mahir with sticks, resulting in his immediate demise. Shockingly, six children were present inside the mosque at the time of the brutal assault.
The perpetrators not only targeted Mahir but also intimidated the children, warning them against disclosing the incident. They confiscated the children’s mobile phones to prevent them from seeking help or informing anyone about the attack. After the assailants fled the scene, the children emerged from the mosque and alerted people about the horrifying incident.
Mahir, who used to teach children at the mosque, was well-known in the local community. Following the tragic event, his body was handed over to his family members, who arrived in Ajmer from Uttar Pradesh.
Investigations into the case are ongoing, with the police striving to apprehend the culprits responsible for this heinous act of violence.
