Rajasthan News: In a devastating accident on Sunday afternoon, seven members of a family from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, lost their lives after their car collided with a truck and caught fire in Rajasthan’s Sikar district.
The victims, including two children and three women, were en route from the Salasar Balaji Temple to Hisar when the fatal crash occurred, according to police reports.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Fatehpur Circle) Rampratap Bishnoi stated, “Near Arshiwad Pulia, the car crashed into a moving truck from behind, after which it caught fire. Seven people, including three women and two children, in the car were killed.”

The accident unfolded when the car driver attempted to overtake the truck, laden with paper rolls and cotton boxes. In an effort to avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle, the driver swerved and collided with the truck, triggering a fire from the LPG kit installed in the car.
Tragically, the intensity of the fire prevented the car passengers from escaping, leading to their untimely demise. Among the deceased are Neelam Goyal (55), her son Ashutosh Goyal (35), Manju Bindal (58), her son Hardik Bindal (37), his wife Swati Bindal (32), and their daughters Diksha (7) and Swati (4).
Emergency services, including fire brigade vehicles from Fatehpur, Ramgarh, and Laxmangarh, responded swiftly to extinguish the blaze. The bodies have been transferred to Rajkiya Dhanuka Sub-District Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
