- Development Initiatives for Religious Sites: The state government has announced development projects to enhance facilities for pilgrims at key religious sites, including Bharthari Dham in Alwar, Arbuda Mata and Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple in Mount Abu, Dwarkadhish Temple in Rajsamand, Nasiyan Ji in Viratnagar-Kotputli Behror, Teg Bahadur Sahib Gurudwara at Delhi Bypass in Jaipur, and Budda Johad Gurudwara in Anupgarh.
- Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme: As part of the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme, 15,000 pilgrims will be provided with a special train to visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
These announcements underscore the state government’s commitment to promoting tourism and preserving cultural heritage while ensuring that senior citizens have the opportunity to visit significant religious sites.
