PM Modi: On Saturday foundations for multiple projects were laid down by Prime Minister Modi in Rajasthan’s Bikaner. The projects include, a six-lane greenfield expressway connecting Amritsar-Jamnagar Industrial corridor, a 30-bed Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, redeveloping of the Bikaner railway station, first phase of the Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor and Bikaner-Bhiwadi transmission line worth Rs. 24,000 crore were inaugurated by Prime Minister.
Projects launch in Bikaner
Prime Minister Narendra Modi pressed a button to inaugurate multiple projects at a program in Norangdesar, Bikaner.
During the inauguration PM Modi said “Rajasthan has the potential for fast pace development…youth of Rajasthan will be benefitted most with the increasing connectivity…Greenfield Expressway corridor will connect Rajasthan with Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat and Jammu & Kashmir.” He also added that he will work with people for the rapid development of Rajasthan.
Earleir PM Modi had launched projects worth Rs 6,100 crore in Warangal, Telangana. He also visited the Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal.
‘Jawab Do Modi Ji’
The ruling Rajasthan Congress left no stones unturned to mock the visit of Prime Minister Modi to Rajasthan. Multiple hoardings titled ‘Jawab Do Modi Ji’ were set up throughout the city of Bikaner. The Congress has multiple agitations against the Prime Minsiter that includes rolling back of NPS fund to employees of Rajasthan Government and his decision to stop the loan waiver of farmers in the state. The agitations also remains over non-nationlisation of Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project(ERCP).
Among the projects is Doubling of the 43 km long Churu – Ratangarh railway section.
