According to the updated schedule, students can now register for Stream 1 until September 30. For Stream 2, the registration deadline has been extended until August 31, with a late fee of Rs. 250.
Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma added that these changes aim to provide students with additional time and flexibility to complete their registration, ensuring that no eligible student misses the opportunity to enroll. The Rajasthan State Open School remains committed to making education accessible to all students across the state.
The extension of registration dates reflects the Rajasthan State Open School’s commitment to accommodating students’ needs and ensuring that they have sufficient time to complete their enrollment. Mr. Ashish Modi emphasized that the decision to revise the dates was made after considering various factors, including the challenges students might face in the registration process. The government is keen on making education more accessible and flexible, particularly for those who may require additional time to prepare for the academic year.
Increased Access to Education
Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted that the extended deadlines, particularly the provision to register for Stream 2 with a late fee until August 31, demonstrate the school’s efforts to provide inclusive education. By offering more time and options for registration, Rajasthan State Open School is working to remove barriers that could prevent students from continuing their education. This initiative is part of the broader strategy to ensure that every student in Rajasthan has the opportunity to pursue their studies, regardless of their circumstances.
Encouragement to Utilize the Opportunity
Authorities are urging students and parents to take full advantage of this extended registration period. The Rajasthan State Open School has also launched awareness campaigns to inform the public about the new deadlines and the importance of timely registration. Mr. Modi and Mr. Sharma both stressed the importance of not waiting until the last minute to register, encouraging students to secure their spots as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute issues.
The revised registration dates are expected to benefit thousands of students across Rajasthan, allowing them to continue their education with the flexibility that open schooling provides.
