Rajasthan News: The Station House Officer (SHO) of Mehendipur Balaji police station in Dausa district, Rajasthan, found himself suspended after a viral photo showed him accepting garlands at a sports competition. The incident occurred when SHO Ajit Badsara visited the event to enforce the code of conduct during elections but was welcomed with flower garlands by local leaders.

The competition had been organized without permission and came to the attention of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), who dispatched the police station officer to intervene. Instead, the SHO accepted the garlands, leading to his suspension by Dausa District Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana. The incident highlighted a breach of the code of conduct during the ongoing election period in Rajasthan.
