Rajasthan News: Tightened Security Measures for Rajasthan Board Exams Amidst Rising Temperatures

In preparation for the upcoming 10th and 12th-grade examinations conducted by the Secondary Education Board, the Chief Secretary, Veera Rana, has issued directives to all Collectors and Police Superintendents regarding enhanced vigilance before and during the exams, spanning from February 5th to March 5th. In addition to establishing control rooms in districts, officials are urged to maintain constant communication at the state level.

Mobile Usage Restrictions at Exam Centers

To ensure the integrity of the examinations, strict measures have been imposed on mobile phone usage by exam center officials, including Chief Examiners, Assistant Chief Examiners, Supervisors, and students. Only the Collector’s representative will be permitted to use a mobile phone within the examination premises. The authorities emphasize the importance of safeguarding the confidentiality of the exams.

Randomization for Exam Personnel Appointments

The appointment of 120% of Chief Examiners/Assistant Chief Examiners has been randomized through the National Informatics Centre at the district level. Any changes in Chief Examiner/Assistant Chief Examiner appointments will be made only with the Collector’s approval in specific circumstances.

Secure Distribution of Question Papers

Question papers for February 1st and 2nd will be distributed to the coordinating institutions by the coordinating bodies. The question papers will be securely delivered to police stations/ posts under the supervision of coordinating institutions. The sealed packets containing question papers will only be opened directly in the examination rooms by the Chief Examiners.

Strict Timings and Access Control

Chief Examiners are instructed to ensure that the sealed boxes containing question papers are not opened before 8:30 AM and that access to supervisors is restricted before 8:45 AM on the examination day.

These stringent measures aim to uphold the sanctity of the examination process and enhance the overall security arrangements during the board exams.
