After the formation of ministerial cabinets in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, now it’s Rajasthan’s turn. The preparations for the expansion of the cabinet in the new BJP government have been completed. The swearing-in ceremony could take place on Wednesday. The cabinet is expected to be a mix of new faces and veterans, similar to the patterns observed in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
The new government, led by Chief Minister Bhajanalal Sharma, may take the oath on December 27, although there is no official announcement regarding the date. Approximately 22 to 25 ministers could take the oath during the ceremony. The cabinet is likely to feature 8 to 10 ministers from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.
Rajasthan: Potential Dynamics in the New BJP Government’s Cabinet Formation
The inclusion of a significant number of representatives from the marginalized sections is anticipated in the new cabinet. Around 8 to 10 ministers from these sections might find a place in the new cabinet. Regions such as Shekhawati, Mewar, Vagad, Marwar, and Eastern Rajasthan are expected to be represented in the new cabinet. The cabinet will witness a blend of both new faces and experienced leaders, with approximately 10 to 12 new ministers making their debut.
The cabinet expansion is poised to empower the backward sections, making the new Rajasthan cabinet a diverse and inclusive governing body. The official announcement of the cabinet expansion date is yet to be made, but according to sources, it might occur on December 27. The new cabinet is likely to be a mix of fresh talent and seasoned politicians, signaling a dynamic and balanced leadership for the state.
