Rajasthan News: Over 1.33 crore people, including students, teachers, and community members, etched their names in history by participating in a synchronized “Surya Namaskar” event across all schools in Rajasthan on Thursday. This remarkable feat has earned the state a prestigious world record, recognized by the Rajasthan Edition of the World Book of Records, London.
A Collaborative Effort for a Monumental Achievement
Education Minister Madan Dilawar expressed his elation over this “special achievement” and acknowledged the contributions of all involved. He lauded the dedication of students, teachers, parents, public representatives, school leaders, and countless individuals who came together to make this event a resounding success. He also commended the tireless efforts of the entire School Education Department team.
Simultaneous “Surya Namaskar” across the State
Secretary of the School Education Department, Naveen Jain, elaborated on the event’s execution. He revealed that “Surya Namaskar” was performed simultaneously in all government and non-government schools across Rajasthan on Thursday, between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Notably, over 1.14 crore students from 88,974 schools participated in the exercise, contributing significantly to the record-breaking total.
