Rajasthan Weather Update: Rajasthan continues to experience a period of weather instability, with no sign of easing up. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts today, predicting the likelihood of gusty winds, storms, and rainfall persisting until the next two to three days. These weather activities are expected to remain active from May 12th to May 14th. While the weather shift has led to a drop in temperatures in many regions, some areas remain scorching hot. The intense heat has been alleviated for residents due to the gusty winds, storms, and rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, the impact of the active western disturbance prevailing over Rajasthan will continue to be observed today. There is a possibility of light rainfall accompanied by thunder in various areas today, including Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, and Jodhpur regions during the afternoon. During this period, strong winds are expected in some places, with localized thunderstorms anticipated in a few areas. This phase of weather change may persist until May 14th, resulting in a decrease in temperatures across most regions.

Today, winds with speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are expected. According to Radheshyam Sharma, the director of the Jaipur Meteorological Center, during the past 24 hours until Saturday morning, rapid winds and rainfall of varying intensities were recorded in some parts of the state due to the active western disturbance. The highest rainfall was recorded in Gogunda, Udaipur, with 75 millimeters. There is still a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder in many parts of the state. During this period, winds with speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour may occur.
Despite the rainfall in Bikaner, temperatures remain high. There is also a possibility of hail and lightning in one or two places in the state. Due to the windy and rainy weather activities, maximum temperatures are expected to remain below 42 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state. However, despite the weather changes, the temperature remains high in several locations. Today, the highest temperature was recorded in Bikaner, Western Rajasthan, at 45.5 degrees Celsius, and in Vanasthali, Eastern Rajasthan, at 44.8 degrees Celsius, while Bikaner experienced rainfall yesterday.
