The Meteorological Department has predicted intense rain for the state over the next three days. Southern Rajasthan, in particular, is expected to experience excessive rainfall. The heavy rain is anticipated to continue until August 26, after which the intensity is expected to decrease.

Additional Weather Update:
According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area is situated over the eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh and surrounding regions. It is likely to move towards southeastern Rajasthan over the next 24 hours, intensifying as it progresses. Due to this weather system, heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Kota, Udaipur, and Jodhpur divisions (southern and southeastern Rajasthan) from August 24 to 26.
On August 25, extremely heavy rainfall (over 200 mm) is highly probable in some areas of the Kota and Udaipur divisions. There is a strong likelihood that rainfall activities will decrease from August 27 onwards.
