Rajasthan Weather Update: : The state of Rajasthan is currently experiencing pleasant weather as the rainy season continues in most of its districts. The return of the monsoon has brought significant relief from the oppressive heat. The rainy season is still ongoing, and the Meteorological Department has issued yellow and orange alerts for various areas.
Heavy rainfall has been forecasted in several areas
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder in some places in Sirohi and Jalore districts. Additionally, heavy rainfall has been forecasted in several areas, leading to the classification of these districts as part of the Orange Zone.
Intermittent light to moderate rain persists in several other districts, including Udaipur, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Rajsamand, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pali, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Dausa, Tonk, Alwar, Barmer, Jhunjhunu, Churu, and Sikar. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for these regions.
The Meteorological Department has advised people to take precautions during adverse weather conditions, including securing loose objects and avoiding sitting under trees. Additionally, residents are urged to stay indoors when the weather is unfavorable.
Overall, the recent rain showers have brought relief from the heat in Rajasthan, with eastern and western parts of the state experiencing varying levels of rainfall. Dholpur witnessed torrential rain, while Banswara received heavy rainfall in recent days.
