Rajasthan Weather Update: The maximum temperature in Rajasthan has soared to an unprecedented 50 degrees Celsius for the first time this summer, according to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Jaipur Meteorological Centre. The highest temperature was recorded in Phalodi over the last 24 hours, marking a significant milestone in the state’s summer heat.
Rajasthan Records 50 Degrees Celsius as Heatwave Persists
Sharma noted that the severe heatwave is expected to persist for the next two to three days. However, relief is in sight as temperatures are anticipated to decrease by approximately 2-3 degrees starting from May 28-29.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to cope with the extreme heat and stay hydrated. The meteorological department continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as needed.
