Ruckus in Rajasthan on OPS , here’s what CM says

In Rajasthan, the old pension is increasing. Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan has retaliated after Montek Singh Ahluwalia, who is considered close to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, made statements regarding the OS. Attacking the central government and economists, Gehlot said that the government is setting fielding for economists in its defence, and even before this the OPS was implemented in many states by the Congress government, there is no difference of opinion on development. During a conversation with the media on Sunday, Gehlot said that despite working for a long time, the employees definitely lose their rights because they do not have a position.

It was said that the OPS scam is a change that will lead to financial bankruptcy and those who are pushing this move will have the advantage that bankruptcy will come after 10 years.

Montek Singh Ahluwalia recently attended a program where he answered questions related to the old pension account and said that economists have nothing to do with the old pension scheme and those in power or political parties are taking such steps.

No case on development from OPS: Gehlot

Focusing on the Center and the BJP government, CM Gehlot said that the old pension is being restored till 60 years of independence in the country, then what development did not happen. He said that the government only wants to fill its account by not giving old pension to the employees and this does not have any bad effect on the development. Gehlot bluntly said that the central government may get some statements from economists regarding OPS, but the truth is that the employees should get old pension.

Rajasthan government had nnounced to restore OPS in March last year, after which the Congress is continuously attacking the BJP registered regarding OPS. Earlier, in BJP states, every time the Congress is in the election field along with restoring the old pension. Recently, the restoration of OPS was considered a major reason behind the formation of the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh.

It is unemployed that in the year 2004, the new pension scheme was started by removing the old pension scheme. At the same time, earlier the under employees of OPS used to get minimum 50 percent of their last salary as pension. Just before the assembly elections in Atal Rajasthan, the Gehlot government is doing disgusting work to the BJP and the central government on this issue. Since the implementation of OPS in March 2023, CM Gehlot has been continuously attacking the central government.
