Spice Jet Jaipur Airport News: A female employee of SpiceJet was arrested for allegedly assaulting an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Jaipur airport, authorities confirmed. Malviya Nagar ACP Aditya Poonia provided details of the incident, which took place on Thursday.
“We received information that a woman employee of SpiceJet assaulted ASI Giriraj Prasad at Jaipur airport. The complainant stated that while he was performing his duty at the airport’s vehicle gate, SpiceJet crew members arrived with a food truck and other logistics,” said ACP Poonia.
Details of the Altercation
Due to the absence of a woman officer in that shift, ASI Giriraj Prasad requested the female crew members to wait until another woman officer arrived. Following the altercation, the woman allegedly slapped ASI Prasad.
“We have checked the CCTV footage and subsequently arrested the woman employee, producing her in court,” ACP Poonia stated.
Counter-Accusations
In a further development, the SpiceJet employee filed a case of misbehavior against ASI Giriraj Prasad later that evening, complicating the matter further. The incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by airport security and staff interactions.
