Monu Rana and Gogi, wanted in the Bhiwani murder case, have been arrested from the hills of Dehradun in Uttarakhand. In the case of burning Junaid and Nasir alive, the police got success after almost two months. The police had placed a reward of 10,000 on Monu Rana and Gogi.
Nasir and Junaid, residents of Ghatmika village of Bharatpur, were murdered in Haryana. A few days after the incident, the police arrested an accused named Rinku Saini. 8 people were identified in Nasir and Junaid murder case. Initially, the police had declared a reward of 5-5 thousand on the accused.
If it was not received, the prize money was increased to Rs 10,000 each. Police teams were camping in Haryana to nab the accused. Raids were also being done in many states of the country. Inspector General of Police Gaurav Srivastava has told that five teams were constantly trying to nab the accused of killing Nasir Junaid. Continuous search of police was going on in Haryana, Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile, the police team got information that the main accused are hiding in the hills of Vikas Nagar police station area of Dehradun.
The police raided and arrested Monu Rana and Gogi. The arrested accused have been identified as Narendra Kumar alias Monu Rana resident of Bhiwani Haryana and Gogi alias Monu Jati Prajapat resident of Bhiwani Haryana. After the arrest, both were produced in the court. The court has given both of them on police remand for 10 days. Both will be interrogated in the Bhiwani murder case and clues will also be found about the other 6 absconding accused. Many more important information can come to the fore in the course of questioning.
By when will all the accused be caught?
He has told that both Junaid and Nasir were kidnapped from Bharatpur and taken to Haryana. Nasir and Junaid were questioned about the cow smuggling vehicle. During interrogation, the accused brutally thrashed Junaid and Nasir. The condition of both worsened due to the beating. The accused had taken Junaid and Nasir to the Haryana Police in a critical condition. Seeing the serious condition of both, the Haryana Police had refused to take action.
After that, the accused beat Junaid to death in Ferozepur Jhirka in Haryana and killed Nasir by strangling him with sticks.
After killing both the deceased, they poured petrol in their Bolero car and set it on fire. In the Nasir-Junaid murder case, Monu Manesar’s case is also under police investigation. Will be arrested on getting evidence. However, efforts are being made to take him into custody for questioning. Significantly, on February 15, brother had registered a case of kidnapping and murder of Nasir-Junaid against 8-10 unknown people at Gopalgarh police station in Bharatpur. On February 16, the police recovered the burnt bodies of both of them from the car.
