Weather Update: The meteorological center in Rajasthan has issued a prediction for light rain in various parts of the state over the next 24 hours due to the influence of a fresh western disturbance. As a result, an induced circulation system is expected to form over north-western Rajasthan and its surrounding areas within the next day. Winds will carry moisture from the Gulf of the Arabian Sea to these regions.

The forecast indicates the possibility of light rain in isolated locations, including Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Phalodi, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, and surrounding areas, particularly in the Shekhawati region of eastern Rajasthan and Jaipur division on October 15.
Furthermore, there is a chance of an increase in thunderstorm and rain activities on October 16, with parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, and Kota divisions likely to experience isolated rain along with thunderstorms.
Additionally, sudden strong winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph are expected in certain districts within the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions.
According to the weather department, thunderstorm and rain activities may persist in some parts of the state on October 17. This prediction comes as a result of the impact of the fresh western disturbance, bringing much-needed rainfall to the region.
