Ranchi News:. Authorities on alert after two people die due to Nipah Virus in Kerala, as two trains come from Kerala to Jharkhand. Authorities want to take all precautions about the safety of the passengers travelling in the train. According to sources, Over 15 people who came in contact with the deceased are being placed in the High risk category zones. According to experts, the virus spreads from one person to another and if the person is infected with the virus, the chances of death are 40-70 percent.
Many people travel from Kerala to Ranchi
Considering the death of two people in Kerala, the state has advised its Neighboring state Karnataka to avoid travelling in the affected areas. The 2 trains that run from Kerala to Ranchi are Dhanbad to Ranchi to Allapi and Hatia to Ernakulam. Lot of people travel through these trains. This is why it becomes a matter of serious concern. Apart from this , a park in Ranchi’s VVIP area is a hub of bats. Lot of people go there for a morning walk. People don’t notice the bats hanging in the branches of the tree which is dangerous.

According to health experts, bats are carriers of many diseases and their bite requires anti rabies vaccine, so people must be vigilant before going near such places where you find bats.
