Ranchi News: The city will have a whole New Railway Station equipped with all the State of Art Facilities for the Passengers. The New railway station is likely to be ready by 2025. The agency working on the renovation of the Railway station submitted a presentation to the Railway Board Officials and also to the other members including the Ranchi MP, Divisional railway Manager and other officials. The agency informed them about the progress of the renovation done so far.
10% Construction Work done so far
The Construction work of the renovation will be divided into two parts North and South. The agency has finished 10% work as of now. The Construction of the South Area will be done in the first phase. Once this area is finished, the construction work will begin for the North phase. The old building will be demolished completely.
New Railway Station will have State of Art Facilities
The New Railway Station will have drop and pick facility, plaza area, over 100 Rest rooms, Adequate parking Space for vehicles, seating arrangement for about 2500 people, playing area for kids, separate rooms for feeding mothers, First Aide Facility, 30% electricity will be used for Solar Energy,17 lifts, 19 escalators. There will be separate lane for autos, taxis and Private vehicles.
