In addition to this, he had informed the applicants that he had strong ties to senior military figures and that in exchange for their financial support, he would secure them employment.
Ranchi Police Detains Fraudster Brijesh Kumar Choubey for Agniveer Job Scam
The Ranchi Police have detained a man named Natwarlal who defrauded candidates out of their original certificates and thousands of rupees under the pretence of the Agniveer recruitment process. Brijesh Kumar Choubey is the name of the fraudster who was apprehended by the police. He resides in Ranchi‘s Indrapuri Road No. 6 neighbourhood, which is a part of the Sukhdev Nagar police station. Fraudster Brijesh Kumar Choubey defrauded the Namkum Army Hospital staff under the guise of working together with them in order to get the candidates finally selected for the Agniveer recruitment process’ second phase, the medical examination, which was taking place in the nation’s capital. The police have recovered several documents including three mobiles from the accused Brijesh Kumar Choubey, which shows that he has cheated lakhs of rupees from more than 30 candidates.
Bihar Native Files FIR in Agniveer Job Scam, Fraudster Arrested by Ranchi Police SIT
Subedar Ambekeshwar, a native of the Bihar district of Khagaria, filed a FIR at Namkum Police Station in Ranchi alleging forgery that was carried out under the guise of Agniveer recruitment in order to obtain a job by accepting thousands of rupees. On the advice of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Police Rural Naushad Alam formed a SIT team under the direction of trainee IPS Ritvik Srivastava after seeing the gravity of the situation. On the basis of several technical elements and questioning of the Agniveer candidates, the newly created SIT squad arrested Brijesh Kumar Choubey, a resident of Ranchi’s Indrapuri Road No. 6 neighbourhood in the Sukhdev Nagar police station area. Let us tell you that the accused Brijesh Kumar Choubey operates a medical shop in Sukhdev Nagar police station area. Brijesh Kumar Choubey broke down during the interrogation by the police and accepted the crime of cheating in the name of giving Agniveer jobs by taking lakhs of rupees from several candidates. During interrogation, Brijesh Kumar Choubey told that in the name of giving jobs, a demand of Rs 2 lakh was made from the candidates.
